While Paige Matthews was visiting Leo's class as a guest lecturer, Jessalyn expressed boredom. She didn't want to hear about more books. To teach her a lesson, Paige let her pick a spell in the Book of Shadows and cast it, knowing full well that something would go wrong.
The spell transformed Jessalyn into a monster that sent Paige, Leo, and the other students running.
No Rest for the WiccaEdit
In her recap of the previous issue's events, Paige confirmed that they were able to return Jess to normal. Paige described Jess as a "snotty little miss princess" and then transformed as a "seven story demon".
